Chambersburg - Jan 13, 2012

It’s been a great start to the New Year for Solinkit in Chambersburg.  A new sales technician, a new marketing intern, an awesome hybrid cloud based security system, and multiple new opportunities.

On the first of this year Solinkit, LLC launched a career portal for Franklin County Works.  Solinkit consulted for Chambersburg Chamber Foundation on the new career portal and helped define ways to market employers and local ecommerce, while helping the local community find employment.  The project will be going into a second phase of development this year to add additional marketing tools to benefit featured employers.

The New Year also brought forth Brian Wolfe as Solinkit’s new marketing intern and Shanna Nally as our new Sales and Support Technician.  Solinkit is still in the process of searching for some more telecommunications sales specialists that have had some experience or training in circuitry.  If you are interested in that position please see our job posting on http://careers.franklincountyworks.com

Solinkit’s development team has rolled out a new Linux based security system that is fully turn-key.  This sever has no yearly fees like most other security servers. Taking the best ideas from multiple systems Solinkit’s developers made a solution that is scalable and automated.  Solinkit has already sold several of these systems and is able to install them in just one day because of how automated the server is.  Solinkit is actively working with government and other agencies on integrating a full cloud security system, which would all archives of video feed to be accessible from anywhere, which would aid law enforcement further in investigations.  With this high definition camera system you won’t have any problem knowing exactly who is in your facility.

Solinkit is going off the model of keeping it simple this year.  We know that managed service contracts are getting confusing and to simplify it we are implementing a new $15 per computer per month plan.  It’s that simple.  You get the power of automation with automatic patches and repairs, but when you need a tech we are available with our four hour response time and excellent hourly rates and flat rate programs.

This New Year, Solinkit has also reached out into the community.  Solinkit will be assisting Kenny Bloom with his senior project of building a web server.  Solinkit has also been donating canned goods to help with the food pantry in Shippensburg, PA to help those who are less fortunate.  Along with that outreach Solinkit donated computers to the Dry Run Bible Church that were given away to families that needed them.  Later this year Solinkit has fundraising plans to help and our Veterans.

This year has just started and there is already a lot of excitement at Solinkit.  We cannot wait to see where we go from here!
